Kami mulai membuat game bersama pada Mei 2022. Apa yang menginspirasi terciptanya Pilkki dan bagaimana Anda membentuk game ini untuk menawarkan pengalaman budaya yang unik, seperti memancing di es?
Pada awalnya, kami kesulitan dengan tema 'tradisi' yang diusung game jam. Awalnya kami ingin membuat game tradisional yang terinspirasi dari 'Day of the Dead', tetapi akhirnya menyadari bahwa game ini tidak cukup menarik bagi kami setelah beberapa kali mencoba, jadi kami mengubahnya. Berasal dari latar belakang multikultural, kami berpikir untuk memadukan budaya daripada fokus pada satu budaya saja. Kami mempertimbangkan untuk membuat tradisi baru dengan menggunakan format deck builder atau city-builder, tetapi kami merasa bahwa format ini terlalu ambisius mengingat jangka waktunya. Kami akhirnya mengalihkan fokus kami ke Finlandia dan tradisinya yang unik.
